Abstract:
Six speakers will share 3-minute lightning talks about their latest research accomplishments that they presented at the AGU conference. They also will share new ideas for research that they gained from attending. After the presentations, a facilitated discussion will collect suggestions of ways to enhance future CCEE impacts and benefits from a critical mass of CCEE people attending a major conference like AGU. The goal is to develop the initial pieces of a CCEE conference playbook to maximize CCEE presence at major conferences.
Info:
The CCEE water groups had an impactful presence at the recent American Geophysical Union (AGU) Annual Conference, December 15-19, 2025, in New Orleans. The AGU Annual Conference attracts around 25,000 attendees and is one of the most important events to attend for those in the water resources engineering field. The CCEE water group attendees were able to share their most significant recent research accomplishments, discover the newest innovations and trends in the field, meet important collaborators, and discuss possible projects with numerous sponsors. Nearly 50 members of the CCEE water community attended AGU! Collectively the CCEE water attendees organized 18 sessions and delivered 78 presentations.
