Dr. Md Mehedi Farhad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama. His research focuses on applied electromagnetics, microwave remote sensing, and the development of uncrewed aerial and ground vehicle systems for Earth and environmental observation. Dr. Farhad’s work integrates GNSS reflectometry (GNSS-R), radiometry, and autonomous sensing platforms to advance precision agriculture, hydrology, and environmental monitoring. Before joining UA, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Georgia, where he worked on GNSS-based remote sensing system development and field experiments.
