Many students in the College of Engineering also participate in the University’s Emerging Scholars Program, an exciting opportunity that helps incoming freshmen get involved in research with a faculty mentor in their chosen field.

In addition to undergraduate students working directly with UA College of Engineering faculty on research projects, the College of Engineering hosts numerous National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduate Programs.
