Anisha Deria is an incoming teaching assistant professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering who will be joining in Fall 2025. Her work emphasizes dynamic resource allocation, social vulnerability prioritization, and automated monitoring in large-scale modular prefabrication and roadway reconstruction efforts. She is interested in advancing the application of digital twins and artificial intelligence in construction to improve planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and equity in disaster recovery. She is also passionate about enhancing data collection methods through novel sensing systems such as wearable and audio-based monitoring and leveraging intelligent automation to support resilient infrastructure development.

Her research also explores intelligent safety monitoring solutions to improve hazard detection and reduce occupational risks for construction workers. Her scholarly contributions have appeared in leading journals such as the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction and the Journal of Management in Engineering, as well as prominent conferences including the ASCE International Conference on Computing in Civil Engineering (i3CE) and the Construction Research Congress (CRC).
