Dr. Taber Wanstall’s research focuses on thermal-fluid sciences, especially those relevant to aerospace systems. This includes high-speed propulsion for both air-breathing and rocket-based technologies, thermal management, non-ideal thermodynamics, and optical-based measurement techniques. His work integrates experimental and theoretical approaches, including the development of novel, non-intrusive optical diagnostics for evaluating both reacting and non-reacting flows.
