Transfer Information

If you are planning to transfer to the University of Alabama from a junior or community college in Alabama, you will need to know the junior or community college equivalents to University of Alabama courses. The STARS (Statewide Transfer and Articulation Reporting System) website offers detailed information about course equivalencies and requirements. For the purposes of the STARS system, courses are organized into five categories:

Because Area V requirements are set at the college or departmental level, you must consult the college in which your major, program or elective is based to determine course equivalencies.
