Dr. Xiaoyan Hong’s research interests include mobile and wireless networks, future wireless Internet and high performance networks. Her current research covers mobile ad hoc networks, wireless Mesh networks, vehicular networks, and delay tolerant networks.
Hong is also involved with a project for the NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges Program.

UA Professors to Study Underwater Robotics Wireless Communications
Selected by the National Science Foundation, the professors will lead a $1.5 million effort to develop an infrastructure for underwater research robots to exchange information.
