UA Catalog Listing Degree WorksThe Department of Computer Science at the University of Alabama is offering a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security. This program is designed to provide a rigorous, technical degree that imparts the necessary knowledge, skills, and motivations to protect and defend digital information from attacks. The B.S. degree in Cyber Security provides students with the technical skills and theoretical concepts needed to protect Internet-connected hardware, software and data of computer systems. The B.S. in Cyber Security is comprised of traditional core Computer Science courses, technical Cyber courses, and law/policy/ethics courses.
